No more plastic sticks for pizza hot sauce or Caesar salad dressing! Since 2018, we have set ourselves the goal of using recyclable materials in our production chain. Today, we are launching a breakthrough innovation in the fast-food sauce packaging market: a sauce stick that is recyclable in the paper and cardboard stream.
It is the result of several months of research and collaboration between our R&D team and the packaging industry to design a recyclable stick that ensures product protection while meeting the expectations and needs of the foodservice sector in terms of waste recycling.

As a trusted partner for many fast-food players, we have already convinced Domino’s Pizza to use our packaging for its chili oil sticks in France and the Benelux region. The sauces and “By Soreal” packaging developed for major foodservice brands are the result of collaborative work between the company’s product and packaging R&D experts and its clients. Soreal’s goal is to support its partners in transitioning toward more sustainable solutions.

This innovative packaging is a first step for the fast-food market and guarantees to customers that it can be properly processed through a recycling stream. However, our work does not stop there, as our R&D department is already working on increasing the percentage of paper in the material. We are continuing this approach across all our packaging, in all markets, with a sustainable mindset, in order to offer all our clients forward-looking solutions, starting with recyclable paper single-serve portions.
